Vintage Moroccan Tuareg Carpet TG03

Woven by the nomadic Tuareg tribes of Mauritania with palm reed and leather, these mats offer an alternative to a traditional woven textile floor coverings. This example features an almost symmetrical composition of overscale cross motifs, but is unpredictably offset by a vertical band.
