Vintage Moroccan Ourika Carpet OR18
This lively Ourika carpet displays vertical chains of meandering lozenge motifs contained within irregular side borders. The lozenge network is interspersed with moments of other Berber symbols including male branch and snake motifs. The colorful palette includes sea green, poppy red, yellow/orange, grass green, purple, light blue, turquoise, pink, black and dark brown. Pile knotted with ivory and brown wool with mixed cotton fibers on a cotton warp.
