Vintage Moroccan Beni Sadden Carpet BS15

A wonderful vintage Moroccan Beni Sadden featuring an abstract drawing resembling a landscape and male and female primitive motifs at one end. Multiple shifts in the meandering lozenge network occur across the field, lending a sense of spontaneity to the piece. Knotted in faded poppy red, orange, black, and dark brown, on an ivory ground. All wool pile with some cotton present in the warp.
