Vintage Moroccan Beni Ouarain Carpet BH01
A Beni Ouarain hanbel, which differs from the structure of double knotted higher pile Beni Ouarains with its low looped pile construction. The emphasis of this carpet is on texture rather than pattern. Horizontal bands of dark brown and red are woven into the weft, which peek through the field of knotted ivory wool and add a subtle accent of color. Some subtle dye transfer of red near the base of some pile, which does not detract from the overall condition. 100% wool.
