Vintage Moroccan Aït Ouaouzguite Carpet AO11

A stunning minimalist Ait Ouaouzguite rug with an unusual bar design with almost square proportions. The solid field of poppy and fire red is bordered with vertical bar formations woven in natural brown and ivory. Several floating double triangular forms, lozenges and other abstract motifs are scattered throughout the composition. Knotted in low pile with small accents in purple, electric blue and grass green. 100% wool on a cotton warp.
