Vintage Moroccan Aït Ouaouzguite Carpet AO06

A lively small Aït Ouaouzguite example with an abstract composition. Male bar and brick-like motifs are combined with other symbols taking on an agricultural reference. Knotted in an unusual palette of teal blue, turquoise, faded celadon, pale grey, black and ivory wool on a sunny yellow ground. Wool pile woven on a cotton warp.
