Vintage Moroccan Aït Ouaouzguite Carpet AO01

A fantastic find, this Aït Ouaouzguite hanbel (flat weave) carpet is a minimalist work of art. The mostly neutral palette of natural dark brown and ivory includes hints of metallic silver fibers and a lively magenta band adding artistic expression to the piece. The woven construction lends visual interest, creating subtle pattern within the composition. Woven in goat hair and sheep's wool with some cotton present in the weft.
