Vintage Moroccan Ourika Carpet OR14
This abstract Ourika Valley carpet is woven in a vibrant multicolored palette on an ivory ground. A central motif, reminiscent of a flame or veiled fatima, is bordered by vertical bands of multicolored glyphs. The cotton fibers in bright red, cobalt blue, turquoise, pink, grass green, and yellow sharply contrast against the neutral ivory and brown wool.
