Vintage Moroccan Beni Sadden Carpet BS14

A wonderful example of a Beni Sadden with an abstract drawing combining male and female primitive motifs. Multiple interesting shifts in the pattern occur across the composition, lending a spontaneous spirit to the piece. Knotted with a dense pile, the symbolism is constructed in dark brown, faded salmon and lavender on an ivory ground. 100% wool.
