Vintage Moroccan Aït Ouaouzguite Carpet AO10

This small Aït Ouaouzguite features a pair of prominent floating female lozenges filled with brick motifs. The forms are surrounded by smaller lozenges and other Berber symbols. Intricate asymmetrical side borders frame the composition. Knotted in a palette of saffron yellow, orange, coral red, charcoal, and ivory. Lustrous fine wool pile on a cotton warp.
